ABOUT THE FLATMATES
I’m a 28yo working for a luxury fashion start-up while my partner (26) works in a corporate 9-5 role in Docklands. If I’m not working late evenings (which is often), my partner and I like to unwind over dinner and a movie. We prefer to have relaxing weeknights and on weekends, are social and usually with friends, at dinner or a movie or away!
A happy and stylish home is important to us and we’d like a housemate who wants to contribute to that.
We are considerate, friendly and clean and hoping to find someone who appreciates the same environment for his or her home.

Hi we have a room for rent available in Werribee. Close to the freeway and Main Street local shops ect rent is $210 a weeks and the covers rent and bills. Own room and share a bathroom with one other person. Share house work equally everyone helps out. Odd hours are worked so someone that doesn’t stay up all night making loud noise and isn’t a light sleeper is someone is leaving for work at 3:30am. Dogs live here so no other pets and an animal lover is needed.

The house is conveniently located:
4 minutes walk to the bus stop (bus 861 to Dandenong)
5 minutes walk to another bus stop (bus 845 to Dandenong).
Both will go through Endeavour Hills Shopping Center.
For people that are driving:
2 mins to M1 freeway and the Endeavour Hills shopping centre
10 minutes or less drive to Fountain Gate Shopping center. On-street Parking is always readily available.

We have 1 room currently available for rent, furnished with a Double Ikea Malam bed and bedside table, but you are welcome to bring your own things if preferred. All bedrooms have locks on the door (for safety and peace of mind), each tenant will be given the keys for own room.
There are just some simple common rules applied:
1. Not to make too much noise at night, so the others can have their rest at night.
2. We love to keep the place clean especially in the shared communal spaces. Washing the dishes after using them etc and not to wear shoes inside the house.
3. Respect others privacy, belongings, and enjoyment.
4. For ease, we split house chores and take it a week at a time in turn, this provides fairness and also keeps our living space in check.
5. It is required for you to provide 45 days notice when leaving the premises. as it is a common practice to do so and to be able to give time for both parties in preparation of ending your term of living within this space. |

Hi potential new housemates,
Three of our housemates are moving into a smaller home around the corner, which means we have 3 rooms available in our lovely Victorian terrace home! The house is a 6-bedroom, 2-bathroom on Drummond st, with a lovely little backyard. The house is a stone's throw away from Carlton Gardens, the CBD and Lygon Street, supermarkets and all the other good things you can find in Melbourne.
ROOMS
The room in the ad is the smallest room of the 3. The other rooms are larger and you can comfortably fit a desk and wardrobe. Some furniture might be able to be taken over from the previous housemates, but for now assume the rooms come unfurnished. The smallest room is $980 pcm, the larger rooms are roughly $1100 pcm. Bills and fortnightly cleaner not included.
ADMIN
- Move in date is around 6 July
- You'd be able to inspect the house / meet the team this weekend (preferably Sunday 30 June)
- You would have to go on the lease, which runs until 31 January 2020 and can be extended for another year
- Bond $1084 + $60 lease transfer fee
HOUSEMATES
Agave, 3, recently nominated for Melbourne's friendliest cat awards. Although she loves being around humans, she's quiet territorial and does not allow other cats or dogs in the house.
Candi, 33, used to be a bioscientist, but now works in government as a business analyst/process improvement lead (not as boring as it sounds)! Complete STEM nerd, Candi is usually found after hours working on some biohacking/citizen science/science communication project or at public lectures.
Ben, 28, Australian, Master of the house finances, works full time for NAB, hits the gym more often then the other housemates combined, can point you to all the good dumpling places near by.
Felix, 33, German, for some weird reason tasked with writing the ad, Engineer and aviation nerd, when not working he's occupied with finding excuses why he can't exercise and should have another beer instead or making random travel plans that never come to fruition.
YOU
Ideally you are someone around the same age range who has similar values - friendly, respectful, easy going, clean, looking for home rather than a place to sleep and eat, and enjoys a good laugh. We are looking for people who intend to stay in Melbourne and the house long-term (minimum till Jan 2020)
